Anti-fragmentation vehicle protection

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Vehicles without special protection face numerous dangers while performing tasks in a risk zone. Among the main threats are fragments from mines, drops and FPV-drone attacks.
This creates additional risks for drivers and passengers, particularly for teams involved in evacuations or carrying out critical tasks.
Increasing the level of protection of such vehicles is critically important to ensure the safety and effectiveness of operations.
That's exactly why we solve this problem by creating anti-fragmentation ballistic packages for vehicles.

PROTECTION classes
Anti-fragmentation protection modules are available in two classes in accordance with DSTU 8782:2018. The main difference is the number of layers of ballistic material, which directly affects resistance to damage.
DSTU Level 1
Protection against bullets:
− 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov) 57-N-181S;
− 9×19 mm FMJ RN SC Luger/Parabellum
Anti-fragmentation resistance:
– V50 500 m/s VST 01.301.003-2020 (02) (STANAG 2920)
DSTU Level 2
Protection against bullets:
– 7.62×25 mm TT 57-N-134S;
– 9×19 mm FMJ RN SC Luger/Parabellum
Anti-fragmentation resistance:
– V50 603.6 m/s VST 01.301.003-2020 (02) (STANAG 2920)

Questions and answers
Do I need to hand over my vehicle if I want to install anti-fragmentation modules?
For us to make the anti-fragmentation modules, it's enough to send patterns — templates of the shapes of the parts that need to be protected. These can be cutouts of cardboard or another material. We will definitely advise you on how to make them correctly.
The manufacturing and installation process:
1. You send us the patterns.
2. We manufacture the modules.
3. We deliver them to you via Nova Poshta.
4. You install the modules — yourself or at a service station.
What's the difference between the external and internal installation options?
Internal installation (requires disassembling the vehicle). The modules are mounted inside the doors, under the hood and in other internal elements. In this case, help from a service station is usually needed.
How much do the anti-fragmentation modules weigh?
DSTU Level 1 — ~4.8 kg/m²
DSTU Level 2 — ~6.4 kg/m²
One vehicle (4 doors, roof, hood, fenders, trunk) uses approximately 8–12 m² of armoring. Thus, the total armor weight is:
DSTU Level 1 — ~40–48 kg
DSTU Level 2 — ~55–80 kg
Such weight doesn't affect the vehicle's functionality.
Do you install the anti-fragmentation modules?
We recommend:
• contacting a service station
• or installing them yourself
How long does it take to manufacture the anti-fragmentation modules?
Will the modules withstand all possible fragments?
However, according to the results of testing in a certified laboratory, as well as tests together with servicemen, an anti-fragmentation module of DSTU Level 2 withstands:
- fragments from an FPV drone with 500 g of explosive at 1 m from the blast;
- fragments from a VOG-17 at 1.5 m from the blast;
- fragments from an RGN grenade at 1 m from the blast.
- fragments from an F-1 grenade at 1 m from the blast
How do I take the patterns myself?
The general process:
1. You provide us with the exact shapes of the surfaces you want to protect.
2. Our designers prepare the final patterns.
3. Production manufactures the modules from these patterns.
