PASGT
4-point suspension system, spongy pads with a faux-leather covering
We have two variants of the PASGT model: 1. Of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), and 2. Of aramid.
Each batch undergoes ballistic testing in a certified laboratory at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The PASGT helmet has Level 1 protection under DSTU 8835:2019.
The PASGT helmet is also suitable for civilian use, in particular for journalists, medics and volunteers.
According to point 3 of the "Terms of cooperation" section on our site, you can return the PASGT helmet within 14 (fourteen) calendar days (not counting the day of purchase) from the moment of its receipt.
Yes. On each helmet there is a sticker with a QR code; by scanning it you'll get access to a scanned copy of the original test protocol of the helmet batch in the laboratory of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. We conduct test firing of each new batch of helmets to confirm the protection class.
Both helmets have Level 1 protection under DSTU.
An aramid helmet has less backface deformation and is able to withstand high temperatures of 80 °C and above, but when the integrity of the coating is broken it absorbs moisture, and it is also more sensitive to constant exposure to ultraviolet radiation if not protected.
A UHMWPE helmet is resistant to the effects of moisture and ultraviolet radiation, but has greater backface deformation and melts at temperatures of 80 °C and above.
Therefore, the choice of material for this type of helmet depends on your working conditions and the type of tasks.
When choosing a helmet, you need to pay attention not only to the letter value of the size but also — to the numerical value of the head circumference indicated in centimeters. This is because the parameters can differ for each manufacturer. The comfort of use and safety depend on the correctly determined helmet size.
