Light SA3 ballistic plates of pressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene are DSTU 8782:2018 Level 3 protection with an extremely low weight.
The plate has a curvature in two planes: horizontal and vertical. This provides the user with greater comfort, mobility and even weight distribution, thanks to which your body armor becomes more convenient.
Each batch of our plates undergoes ballistic testing for compliance with the DSTU protection class in a certified laboratory at the Ministry of Defense or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Yes, each batch of plates undergoes testing in a certified laboratory at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to confirm the protection class. On each plate there is a sticker with a QR code; by scanning it you'll get a scanned copy of the original test-firing protocol of the batch.
The SA3 (DSTU 3) armor plate withstands a 7.62×39 or 5.45×39 caliber bullet from 10 meters. You can find detailed information in the plate's ballistic test protocol.
The SA3 plates have an anatomical curvature in two planes — horizontal and vertical. Each plate is universal in shape: suitable for positioning both in the chest area and in the back area.
For a standard-size plate carrier (for 25×30 cm plates), our SA3 plates in size M (24×32 cm) are suitable.
