Helmets

Military helmets, also known as helmets, are one of the important elements of protective gear for servicemen, members of emergency services and law-enforcement agencies. Their main task is protection from fragmentation injuries.

Ukrainian Armor™ offers a wide selection of types and models of helmets made of high-quality materials such as aramid (Kevlar®), as well as ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (Dyneema®). The helmets correspond to Level 1 protection under DSTU and have ballistic test protocols from a certified laboratory of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. 

Combat helmets have damper insert-pads that provide additional protection from impacts and reduce backface injury. At the same time, the helmets have a relatively low weight, which allows the load on servicemen to be reduced during wear.

The suspension system lets you fit the helmet to your head size, ensuring comfort and a stable position during movement.

Among the types of helmets in the line are the following:

• PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) is a classic basic military helmet, developed after the Second World War to provide protection for ground combat units. It has a characteristic shape with a protruding brim and ear protection. Equipped with a 4-point suspension system and spongy pads for fitting.
• MICH (Modular Integrated Communications Helmet) is another modern helmet, the successor to PASGT. It has integrated mounts for cameras, headphones and other equipment. MICH also provides a high level of protection and comfort for military and police.
• FAST (Future Assault Shell Technology) is a new-generation helmet developed taking into account modern combat requirements. This model has higher side cuts compared to MICH. The helmet has a minimalist design, high strength and a light construction. This type is equipped with side rails and a front mount.

Each of these three types of helmets is presented in the line in several models that differ in the types of suspension and cushioning systems, and so on.

Each of these helmets has its own features and advantages, and their choice depends on the specialization, needs and tasks of each user.
