"Buitur" —  a modern helmet with integrated mounts for various functional applications. A distinctive feature of this model is its shape: MICH helmets have a low cut, that is, they cover the ears. Thanks to this, the head's protected area is larger than that of FAST helmets.

However, this shape limits the options for using some tactical accessories. In particular, active headphones can only be worn underneath, but instead there is the possibility of using active earplugs.

The MICH "Buitur" model is made of aramid (Kevlar®) — a synthetic material with excellent ballistic properties. Its relative strength can exceed that of steel, but the weight at the same time will be significantly lighter.

We have two variants of the "Buitur" helmet, differing in the suspension system and the comfort layer.

Features of the "Buitur" 1.0 helmet

First of all, a feature of the "Buitur" 1.0 helmet is its suspension. We make it with a BOA / Team Wendy type system. Its advantage lies in the construction, thanks to which the user can quickly, with one hand, adjust the helmet to their head circumference and securely fix it on the head. In addition, the system stabilizes the helmet's weight and evenly distributes its pressure over the surface of the head. So even with prolonged wearing of the protection, you won't feel significant discomfort.

The comfort layer in the "Buitur" 1.0 consists of mobile two-layer pads that can be removed layer by layer or moved inside the shell. This lets you position them in a maximally personalized way for a perfect fit.

Features of the "Buitur" 2.0 helmet

In the "Buitur" 2.0 helmet we use an Ops-Core type suspension. Its main advantage is fixing the helmet firmly on the head. Thanks to the frame base and plastic guides, even without fastening, the helmet holds securely on the head. This is especially important if you use functional applications (NVDs, flashlights, cameras, etc.), since you can be sure the helmet won't slip down over your eyes under the weight of the add-ons.

In this generation of the helmet, two-layer non-removable pads are used, which can also be personally positioned inside the helmet.

Which helmet to choose?

When choosing a helmet, you should start from the type of combat tasks of your unit. The models of the two generations differ in the suspension system. The "Buitur" 2.0 with Ops-Core will be more convenient when using a night-vision device or other accessories, since thanks to the internal frame the helmet is fixed better — it won't slip down over your eyes. If additional devices are not used, you can look at the 1.0 model with a BOA / Team Wendy type suspension system — it will be softer due to the two layers of pads. For use with headphones the first version is also better suited, since some pads can be removed for a more comfortable fit, whereas in version 2.0 the pads are non-removable.
